ABOUT US
The Adoption Activism Press
(or TAAP) is a publication created by
the members of the grassroots organization ABORN (Adoptees and
Birthparents for Open Records Nationwide).
We were borne of the need to balance the scales of the mainstream
media as it pertained to Adoption. The general public, and even
those affected by adoption are continuously fed lies and untruths
from the Anti-Open Records Community. Mainstream media fails
to seek the opinions of those Adoption affects most... the
adoptees
and their loved ones. The mainstream media also fails to report
the
truth when it comes to Adoption in many cases.
TAAP recognizes the need for truthful education of the Open
Records and Adoption Communities as well as the General Public
on issues pertaining to Adoption and Open Records. In that vein,
we strive to bring you timely news and relevant information, both
online and to those who do not have Internet Access we provide a
Print Version of TAAP at no charge.
