Question: Are the people who belong to ABORN and TAAP
"Anti-Adoption"?
This is a special
feature based on a current controversy simmering in the online
adoption community...
Answer:
NO!!!!!
The Members of ABORN and TAAP are not against adoption as a rule, although we would not exclude a member if he or she were against the institution of adoption as we are a group mighty tolerant of differing opinions as long as they are expressed respectfully.
ABORN and TAAP support the "Abolish Adoption Petition" which is not against the care and raising of children by people other than their biological parents, it is against the government bureaucracy, discrimination and other Constitutional, Civil and Human Rights violations currently suffered by all members of the TRIAD. These abuses are wrought by archaic Closed Records Legislation among other laws which are currently enforced through all levels of the United States Government and Agencies, as well as for-profit and non-profit adoption agencies.
